  1. Have draggable map markers

    Not everything is known to google. Most rural or "secret" attractions can't be found by address but only coordinates. Having draggable map markers wourl really improve usability.

  2. Show dates in my local format

    Hi, just a suggestion to you to benefit your UK/European users, that if there was an option to switch the Date Formats used on the site between 12/25/13 and 25/12/13, it would gain a contribution from me

  3. Custom category icons

    I'd like to have new folders that I've added have different icon buttons (and not just the planapple shadow). So when I see "Everything" on the map, I know which flag/folder it belongs too

  4. View-only sharing (read-only)

    I'd love to be able to share a link with my friends so they could see a read-only view of the trip I'm planning. (Right now, I can only invite friends to join the trip in a way that lets them edit everything in it.)

  5. Brazilian portuguese translation

    Hi. You should add Brazilian portuguese language. I recommend your site to all my friends, but many don't speak english.
    I can help with the translation if you give me a data dictionary. I love planapple

  6. Fix page refresh while scrolling on Android

    Scrolling down a list of items causes a page refresh on Android. This is very annoying.

  7. Reorder destinations by drag and drop

    If I add a destination using button in left pane it is always added at bottom of list.
    It would better to allow reordering of the list by drag and drop or initially position by itinerary dates.

    I can use edit trip to reorder entries but it it is less obvious than dragging from main window.
    Sometimes order of segments is not correctly reflected in left pane
    Adding destinations from Edit trip is inconsistent with adding destinations from left pane. You have to type name first and add location afterwards while the add destination button allows name to default to…

  9. duplicate trip or move ideas to new trip

    I've saved all my ideas for a trip, and now want to plan aother one in the same area. I'd like to either duplicate it, or be able to move my "unused" ideas to the new trip.

    Allow files to be saved with the trip. E.g., a flight confirmation as PDF, Excel spreadsheet or Word documents, screenshots, etc.

  12. Add/remove multiple pictures for items

    Items with pictures added from the "Save to my trip" button can have their picture changed, but items with no picture does not allow us to add one later. It's also not possible to remove a photo from an item. And it would be nice to have multiple photos on an item.

    There’s now an “Add Picture” option for items with no pictures, and “Change Picture” now has a button to delete the photo. We’re still looking into supporting multiple pictures on an item at some point in the future.

  13. Export locations as gpx (or kml) with categories

    I'd like to have planapple's locations on my mobile. But i'd like to use an OpenStreetMap tool like OsmAnd, because it works much better for me regarding offline navigation and self-defined favorites. So a more general export of all locations as gpx or kml would be really nice (i'd prefer gpx! :) ).

    My current workaround is to select "Everything" in planapple, copy the string you provide via "Get directions on Google Maps" and convert it with a python script to gpx, then i can import these as favorites in OsmAnd. Sadly, the categories get lost as they are not…

  17. Have a day or week-view scheduler, like in calendar apps

    to be able to schedule items more easily, please add an option to view a scheduler like Microsoft outlook shows in it's calendar. I would like to see 1 day or 1 week view, be able to drag items between days and be able to set start & end times in the scheduler

  18. Search within my trip

    I would like to be able to search my entire trip - at least the title and description fields, if not everything. I don't see any possibility to search everything at the moment.
