Reduce number of email notifications
Everytime I edit my trip, I get an email notification of the changes. This is mutiple emails within the hour if I am making many changes to my trip. Ideally, either:
a) I would not be notified of my own changes, only changes made by others,
or
b) I receive a summary of changes no more frequently than once a week.

Just an update: we recently changed this so that you won’t be notified about changes you make to your own trips. (And we also fixed a bug where the “notify me once a week” setting wasn’t doing what it was supposed to.)

You can change how often you receive trip update emails in your account settings at http://www.planapple.com/account/news_feed/ -- anywhere from immediate updates to once a week to never ever. So your option B is already available.
But (unless you change it to "never") you'll still get notified about your own changes. And that does seem kind of pointless. So we'll keep this suggestion open as a request for your option A.
