Add Places to Map
I would find it very helpful, if I could add places to my trip-map. Maybe you could provide different place categories, like accomodation, restaurants, sights ore something else. It would also be cool if I could just add a note to a certain place. So this could also be some kind of travel log.

Hi Anna – I don't work with or for Plannapple but I do use the product, and love it!
If I read your suggestion correctly, it sounded to me like this feature is already implemented:
While in the "Notebook" for our trips, we can can "Add" a Place, Web Page or even a Note while also setting a category for each. For adding a Place, Google Maps is integrated in the search results, thus putting it on a trip map.
I also realize this post, being as old as it is, may very well be something that wasn't there back in May but is there now in July!
As for the note/travel log to attach to a certain place, I suppose just the description or comments section is our current options. Maybe adding a new "Note" with the title of the place, and adding it to the Itinerary on the same date would help us recall those special memories.
As to a map that could filter the categories, etc. I'd be impressed if they could pull that off. Having, at the least the items on the map on the right (when the address is set in the Item Details section) is pretty cool for me.
