Being able to book accommodation on this website

printout suggestions
For printout it is necessary to do this:
* increase Google map size or allow user to pick size;
* for travel by car draw route and distance of each segment of the trip
* allow printout to be more condense, because currently it wasted paper.1 vote -
Itinerary Planning Mode
Itinerary planning view. I'd like to see a big calendar view with blocks for meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and for activities between the meals. That would make it easier to see where I have open schedule and where I am booked.

Open calendar with appropriate month selected
This is relatively simple to implement idea. I have a long trip that starts at the end of month. My trip has several segments and most of them are in the second month. When I want to add items to segment, it asks me if I want to add it to itinerary. When I say yes it presents me with calendar, but calendar is always open at the start of my trip and every time I need to move to the next month. switch between screen layouts (fixed width/full width)
You need to have a way to change the pages layout for those with bigger monitors (from fixed width to full screen). For example, the map is so small that I need to constantly zoom in/out to see my destinations and move between them. On the other hand, I have 2 wide unused areas on both sides of content are that occupy more space than content itself.

En Route Sightseeing
Some activities of interest do not rightly fall into a location folder. Instead, they're something to be visited en route. I'm not sure how this could be handled, but it is something I've run into several times in setting up my first trip.

Events that Recur Daily at same time- meals, etc.
Option to make an event recur on itinerary. (daily) Useful for making a bare-bones itinerary. (ie. Breakfast @ 7am, recur daily)
(I don't want to have to add every meal for 7 days--too many clicks. Just want specific meal to recur daily at same time. Breakfast @ 7am, Lunch around 1pm, Dinner around ___ pm, etc)

Pre-made Events for Itinerary (breakfast, etc.)
Pre-made bank of common events so I can click and drag them to my itinerary. Examples: Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Wake up. Hotel check-in. Hotel check-out. Pack the car.

see other plans to same place by similar user
It would be great to access (with consent and anonymised [no dates, no names, no budget etc]) other trip plans' restaurants chosen, placed stayed in, activities in the same place, by user type (e.g. adventurer, young family)?
I am would love to build on - or at least consider - the ideas of other like-travellers.
Ideally, when I search for a place, a search list might say "Other travellers with young families went to x when in y". Alternatively, this could simply be a summarised list of trips to a place by people who have similar interests / needs.

Getting Around
some kind of search engine or equivalent that allows you to find the price of travel and all the different modes of transportation from destination to destination. One good source I've found is rome2rio.com

Add Rome2Rio Website in Get There
Hi there.
This page, "Get There", is very nice but you are missing the TRAIN! Which is a pity if you are European.
Can you add there the genius website Rome2Rio.com?
Thant shouldn't be much work and would add a great add-on for this Get there part.

12 month overview of trips, drag-and-droppable to change dates
For easy overview of multiple trips, have a 12 month calendar, with color-coded blocks for each trip (during that time). Drag-and-drop to move or change duration.
