map order and size
I would have preferred to be able to print out a map of our stops with pin drops numbered in chronological order. Also, the map on the right could have covered a larger part of the page. Even though I would zoom in, it never seemed large enough for planning.

Duplicate Attraction check
It doesn't seem like there's a check for entries that already exist? A friend added the same attraction as I did and now it's listed twice. Not a major issue by any stretch, but a check to mention that it's already been added would be nice.

Daily maps for better travel planning
Be able to create daily maps so we can better plan day trips and see travel times.

Set both departure and arrival locations for flights, trains, etc.
It would be great if, for transportation, we could set two locations: one for departure and one for arrival.

Visual Indication when new items/discussions are added
Have an easy, visual way to show that something has been added/commented on when viewing the trip page. For instance, if I start a Discussion with my tripmate, perhaps show Discussion in bold or with a (1) after it to indicate that there's something new there.
My tripmate doesn't always check his email, so he's not likely to see the notifications. If there was an easy way to see that there are new items (and where they are), it would be really helpful.
14 votesWe’re thinking about adding little orange dots by items that have been updated, and also showing the updated count in the list on the left. (Kind of like iPhone/Android mail apps show the unread count.)

Poll/vote feature
Please make a poll/vote feature! This type of tool begs for it, and I was under the assumption it was included in the way it was described.
For example, it would work like this. Create a poll that says "Would dates X thru Y work for you?" Then, everyone votes and a percentage is calculated (i.e. "75% of invitees have replied 'yes' ")

Permanently delete items (empty the trash)
Right now, you can archive items, but they stick around in your "Removed Items". You should be able to delete them permanently from the trash.

Have a field in the calender "between" days to put accommodation there.
In the calender I would like to have a "space" separating two days. If you do a long trip with several places where you sleep you can get confuesed easyly. Do you add the hote or campground to the day you arrive? Or to the day you depart? I found it to be much more conveneient to have an extra field "betwen" the days where I write down that places to sleep. I do this when planing in a simple list and would realy like to have this here, too.

Show multi-day itinerary items on every day they're scheduled
I've created a lodging entry and said I'll be staying there for 3 days, but it only shows in the itinerary on the first day. I'd like the option of showing where I will be staying for every day in the itinerary.

Interactive Map
I think it would be really great if you could interact with the map. By this, I mean being able to click on locations or marking certain locations (possibly adding notes to each point I've marked). If there was an interactive map like this, it would be much easier for me to visualize my trip and its route. The interactive part of the map would be extremely helpful!

Itsy bitsy bug
Takes two clicks to save a 'note'. A few times when I first (thought) I'd saved it, I hadn't. Easy to adjust once I knew, just a suggestion.

Add travel features under Itinerary
An additional feature to the Itinerary that allows you to detail how you will get from one location to the next. (eg: travel time or travel method - bus, train, car, taxi, foot, etc and maybe even travel cost)

dependency, so when you change a section's dates, all the following ones automatically adjust to fit, but keep their individual durations

Camping
I can't use your site because we like to take road trips and camp but your "Stay" feature doesn't offer the ability to search for cabins or campgrounds.
