Show multi-day itinerary items on every day they're scheduled
I've created a lodging entry and said I'll be staying there for 3 days, but it only shows in the itinerary on the first day. I'd like the option of showing where I will be staying for every day in the itinerary.

Next button in the detail form
Navigation to next detail item in the detail form. Now I must go back to the list and select the next item to see the detail form.

Notify on website when someone has replied (like instant messaging)
I think your "discussion with your tripmates" idea is nice but there's the hassle of not being able to tell if your tripmates have replied to your posts unless you check your email regularly. I think an instant messaging system might be nice or if we could get notifications on the website for when somebody has replied. Thank you.

Have the itinerary view jump to today's date when loaded.

My Trip home page
A splashier trip home page would be nice. Let us upload a cover photo of our destination, show thumbnail photos/avatars of group members, display a countdown to the departure date, etc. Right now, it's just one big news feed, which isn't very engaging.

Keep everything visible on the map
Show all locations I have added concurrently on same map instead of toggling between them

German Version
Well, I'm just missing the german/european version of this tool.
Germans are the world champions of travel. Each employee has 28-34 days of vacation per year and believe me they utilize it. So might be an idea to expand to Germany?

Sync Planapple plans back out to TripIt
Planapple can import (and update) plans from TripIt into the Planapple itinerary, but I'd also like to sync the opposite direction, so my Planapple itinerary shows up in TripIt.

Have draggable map markers
Not everything is known to google. Most rural or "secret" attractions can't be found by address but only coordinates. Having draggable map markers wourl really improve usability.

Include short notes in the summary printed itinerary
I would add things like confirmation #s and keep a printout with us when traveling as a safety net should electronics be lost or unusable. Printing the long version of a trip report is not practical.

Import entries from tripit into correct location and category based on the itinerary

View-only sharing (read-only)
I'd love to be able to share a link with my friends so they could see a read-only view of the trip I'm planning. (Right now, I can only invite friends to join the trip in a way that lets them edit everything in it.)

Show dates in my local format
Hi, just a suggestion to you to benefit your UK/European users, that if there was an option to switch the Date Formats used on the site between 12/25/13 and 25/12/13, it would gain a contribution from me

Map where tripmates are traveling from
It would be nice if there was a way to post up a map where everyone could edit where there are coming from for this event.

Overview map of all destinations
Why not have an overview of your trip available, with destinations being connected by "as the crow flies" lines. Then be able to drill down on the individual destinations to zoom in.

Reorder destinations by drag and drop
If I add a destination using button in left pane it is always added at bottom of list.
It would better to allow reordering of the list by drag and drop or initially position by itinerary dates.I can use edit trip to reorder entries but it it is less obvious than dragging from main window.
Sometimes order of segments is not correctly reflected in left pane
Adding destinations from Edit trip is inconsistent with adding destinations from left pane. You have to type name first and add location afterwards while the add destination button allows name to default to…20 votes -
Colored Labels in Calendar
Would like to have the ability to assign different colors in the calendar. This is useful for differentiating activities such as hotel stays, entertainment bookings and other such events.

Search within my trip
I would like to be able to search my entire trip - at least the title and description fields, if not everything. I don't see any possibility to search everything at the moment.

Have same labels available in all sections
Once a label is added for a destination section, it is available for use for other items in that section but has to be added again to another section.
